Cuesta College

Cuesta College, our local community college, offers classes at their main campus in San Luis Obispo, the North County Campus in Paso Robles, and the South County Center in Arroyo Grande.  MBHS students have the opportunity to take courses while in high school and enroll in Cuesta full-time following high school graduation.  Cuesta offers a variety of instructional programs; from lower division academic transfer courses, career technical education courses, short courses, distance education (online), to day and evening classes. 

Getting Your State Student ID number (SSID):

Login to your student Aeries portal. From the Student Info dropdown click Profile. In the grey bar to the right of your Name, click General. In the dropdown box your 10-digit State Student ID is located directly under your Student ID (which is directly under your Name).

SAT/ ACT Test Scores

Remember to release your SAT or ACT scores to the schools planning to apply to for the following fall term. Go to College Admissions Testing Tab for answers

UC & CSU "a-g" Subject Requirements

a. History/Social Sciences 2 years  
b. English 4 years  
c. Mathematics 3 years 4 years
Three years including Algebra I, Geometry, and Algebra II. Math courses taken in grades 7 and 8 may be used to fulfill some of this requirement.
d. Laboratory Sciences 2 years 3 years
e. Foreign Language 2 years 3 years
f. Visual and Performing Arts 1 year  
Students must complete one year long (2 semester) course from UC approved VPA courses
g. College Prep. Electives 1 year  
One year, in addition to those required in "a-g" previous listed, chosen from the following areas: visual and performing arts, history, social science, English, advanced mathematics, laboratory science, and languages other than English. Also, Career Technical Education pathways have elective courses that are college prep electives to satisfy this requirement making a student career and college ready.
