How Do I Start A Club?

You Need an Advisor

Every club must have a faculty advisor to supervise club meetings and events and provide a place to meet. Most teachers are more than willing to be an advisor if their time allows. Please be kind to your advisor and keep them informed of all club meetings and events so they can plant their time too.

You Need Students to Join You

All club members must be enrolled at MBHS and membership must be open to all students at school (some exceptions may apply). We recommend your club have a minimum of five members to perform various club leadership roles and help with club needs.

You Need to Define Your Club Type

You will need to determine if your group will be a social group or a classic ASB Club. Social Clubs gather for shared interests and do not receive or spend money (you don't have a budget). A classic ASB Club has a budget and can collect and spend money. Forms for your clube can be found on our ASB Forms page (link above).

Once you have everything you need and have completed your forms, you are good to go! Good luck and happy ASB clubbing!
