New Student Enrollment Instructions


Hello and Welcome to Morro Bay High School!


The following instructions are enrollment requirements for Morro Bay High School. After online enrollment is submitted and documents are received by the Registrar, the Counseling Secretary will schedule an appointment with your Counselor to register for classes. Be sure to call your previous school and complete the "checkout process" before enrolling at Morro Bay High School.

Please have the following documents ready to upload in the online enrollment process.

  1. RESIDENCE VERIFICATION (2 items from 2 separate categories below are needed):

  2. IMMUNIZATIONS: Official documentation showing up-to-date immunizations. A student cannot be enrolled without his/her immunization record. Official Immunization Documentation includes:
  3. BIRTH CERTIFICATE or PASSPORT/VISA

ONLINE ENROLLMENT

Click HERE to begin the online enrollment process for new or former students. 2021-2022 pre-enrollment is now open!

After completing the online enrollment, please email the following documents to rparis@slcusd.org.

  1. HOME LANGUAGE SURVEY (Spanish)
  2. TRANSCRIPT: High school transcript showing the record of classes the student has completed since beginning high school. If the student is beginning the 9th grade, please bring a copy of his/her last report card.
  3. SPECIAL EDUCATION, if applicable: If the student has had special education services, please bring a copy of the current or most recent IEP and Triennial Assessment Report.
  4. GUARDIANSHIP, if applicable:
    • Caregiver’s Authorization Affidavit - if the student is living with a friend or relative (not legal guardian).
    • Foster Parents, please bring copy of the Agreement between the foster parent(s) and the foster family agency.
    • Copy of Custody Agreement, if applicable.


2021-2022 Course Requests:

New Students: please complete the Fillable Class Registration Form below. This includes Cayucos students planning to attend MBHS and new students who have moved to the area and are planning to attend MBHS. You will need to download the Registration Form and save it with your student name. Then please email the form to the Counseling Secretary, Beth Sayler: bsayler@slcusd.org. For more information visit our Counseling Register for Classes website.
