The mission of Morro Bay High School is to educate students through rigorous, relevant, and engaging experiences, supported by the whole community. We provide a safe environment for students to reach their full potential in academics, critical thinking, and social growth, preparing them for global success. Our goal is to empower all students with integrity and to be productive, healthy members of a diverse society.
Michael L. Franklin Jr., Principal
About
Michael L. Franklin Jr. brings 20 plus years of experience in public education, and is entering his 14th year as a school administrator. He has taught and served as an administrator at every level of the K through 12 system. Born in Los Angeles, raised in Baltimore, and shaped professionally in Arizona, Mr. Franklin brings a diverse perspective to his work with students, staff, and families. He believes strongly in being an actively engaged member of the communities he serves. Mr. Franklin is grateful for the support of his wife, two children, and parents throughout his personal and professional journey.
