Our school play is showing again tonight at 7 p.m. The fall play is a thoughtful, psychological drama based on an award-winning movie. The cast of 15 and crew of 5 have worked hard on this play about teens with various mental illnesses. So join us this weekend in the cafeteria. MISSING A SKATEBOARD? There are six skateboards who were left behind and are missing their owners. Please come into the athletic office and claim you board as soon as possible. ATTENTION SNOW-LOVERS! YOPAC is hosting its first ever Warren Miller Video Contest! Make a 1-2 minute video of any snow-related activity (snowboarding, skiing, sledding, etc) and see the winner's video on the BIG SCREEN during intermission of Warren Miller's film premiere, scheduled to show Tuesday December 1, 7pm at the Cohan Center (PAC @ Cal Poly). Videos are due November 27. For entry form and details visit pacstudents.org or pick up a flyer in the main office. COFFEE ORDERS: Get your coffee bag orders in before Thanksgiving break. There are six different flavors to pick from and you can order whole bean or grind. Purchase your order of $10 per bag with any FUSION dancer or see Mrs. Smith. It's a great holiday treat! ATTENTION SENIORS: A couple weeks ago our Registrar asked your English teachers to distribute a form to all seniors requesting two important pieces of information. The top half of the form asked you to verify your LEGAL name which will be printed on your high school diploma. On the bottom half of the form you are to write your social security number so our Registrar, Mrs. Lowe, can electronically submit your Cal Grant GPA to the Student Aid Commission. You will not be able to take advantage of grants provided by the government unless you provide your social security number on the bottom half of the form. Please be sure to turn in the completed form to the Registrar as soon as possible. PIE LOVERS: Would you like to scarf down a slice of pumpkin pie with whipped cream? Today at the beginning of lunch in front of the library we are holding our first ever, pie eating contest --- you can still get involved. Yes, that’s right, there are still a few empty seats. Join the fun, come eat some pie, or just come put and cheer on your favorite big-mouth. PEER HELPING: "Hope for the Holidays" Food Drive is a great program that Peer Helping is running. Bins are open for donations in the English classrooms and room 205 until December 10th. Please bring non-perishable food items to these bins to help local families who are struggling during the holidays. Your donations are greatly appreciated and Peer Helping along with the families who benefit from this drive thank you for your kindness. ENVIRONMENTAL CLUB: There will be an environmental Club meeting on Monday, Nov. 23rd at lunch in Room 26. Please be prompt as we have a guest speaker at 1:00 pm, plus a discussion on recycling and the school garden.
